We Do Insulation offers the blower door test… This sophisticated piece of equipment is temporarily installed in an exterior entry door, usually the front door. All vents, fireplace openings, etc. are blocked off. Any area that is actually not properly insulated allows air infiltration from the exterior, easily pointing out where insulation is needed. Many homeowners who think they have a perfectly insulated home are surprised when this test is conducted when it determines that their home was never insulated properly or was previously insulated inadequately.
